Who We Are

ReMendIt Inc. was founded by Jeff Moore (JM Tech Labs Inc.) and Ittela Ali in early 2022 to address the need in the market for a technology solution to better streamline Service Request and Vendor Management in the Commercial and Residential Property Management space.

Through our many conversations with individuals and organizations that manage properties for a living, we realized that there has to be a better way to make sure that work is completed on time and on budget. We found that there was no purpose-built Service Request Management software available on the market and this has caused Property Managers everywhere to struggle with their day-to-day work.

So, we launched ReMendIt with a mission to right this wrong and to build a tech company focused on serving the unique needs of property managers.

Jeff Moore

Jeff Moore - CEO

Jeff Moore is the CEO and one of the founding members of ReMendit. He is a tech enthusiast with a keen interest in creating and operating tech companies with the goal of solving real problems for real people.
 
Jeff has spent his entire 20-year career in technology and has worked in almost every area including Professional Services, Research and Development, Customer Success, Sales and Marketing. He has managed small and large teams to drive results for the organizations and customers he has worked for. He now spends the majority of his time creating, investing in and advising tech startups in the city of Toronto. Jeff currently owns and manages JM Tech Labs Inc. and is a board member and COO for Divergence Neuro Technologies Inc.

Jeff helped to found ReMendIt after spending time speaking with property management professionals. He noted: “It became clear, after speaking with many individuals who manage commercial and residential properties, that a technological solution was needed to help these professionals more closely manage their service requests and vendor relationships. We founded ReMendIt with the goal of closing this gap and streamlining the day-to-day management of properties.”
 

Ittela Ali - COO

Ittela Ali is the COO and one of the founding members of ReMendIt. She is a business leader passionate about enabling people to achieve their goals by strategically implementing business process improvement and learning and development programs. 

Ittela started her career in Marketing and Communication in 2005 and worked globally for organizations like Ogilvy & Mather, BBC Media Action, United Nations Development Program where she was leading communication campaigns for worldwide projects. Realizing her expertise in strategic business planning and skills as a facilitator, she later served in various leadership roles in sales operations and revenue enablement for technology-focused companies like Global Knowledge Canada, Trapeze Group, Truckstop.com and Masabi. Ittela owns a training and consulting company, Train 4 Development and invested in a South-Asian ethnic wear designer label, RoseIttela Boutique Inc.

After observing her husband’s daily engagements with customers and vendors as a Commercial Building Manager in downtown Toronto, Ittela identified a significant technology gap. Though it started as a curiosity, with Jeff’s help, it later became a research project. After speaking with many such professionals, it was clear that property service management professionals will be hugely benefited from a platform to operate and track everything related to keeping the property and the tenants safe and profitable. 

Ittela believes that ReMendIt will play a game-changing role to future-proof properties by ensuring operational excellence for Property Services and Management Professionals.
